This is hello den where pregnant or nursing females and their young pups stay. No members are allowed here except for hello mother and father, hello alphas, hello elders, hello nannies, and hello healers. Puppies are not allowed to meet hello other pack members until they are 4 weeks. When they turn 6 weeks they will leave hello nursery and move to hello main den with hello others.

Rayne slipped into the den, and quickly lied down at the back wall. Stretching out, she tried to control her breathing. Licking her stomach, she waited for Leorite to come with the herb. "Oh puppies... Why couldn't you have waited a day?" she murmured softly.

Leorite ran into the den. "It will be done in a second," he said. He ran back outside and picked up a rock that went inwards sort of like a bowl. He started chewing the squirrel and the acorns. "I feel bad for Rayne... she is going to have to eat this. And it's horrible. But she doesn't need all that pain," he thought. When the squirrel and the acorn were complete goo, he spit it out in the rock and carried it into the den. Leorite dropped in front of Rayne. "Sorry if it tastes bad. It is supposed to get rid of the pain."

Rayne wrinkled her nose at the smell of the stuff inside the bowl. Another wave of pain shot through her though, making her decide. Gulping down the disgusting stuff, when she was finished, she whined. "Ew. Oh God ew," she whined. Another pain shot through her, but less this time and she looked at Leorite.

Lucifer trotted up to the den, but didn't go in. Rayne said she was doing it alone and no matter how bad he wanted to go in, he had to respect that. He laid down in the shade and wagged his tail, waiting for the okay.

"Yeah..." Rayne murmured. Lying her head on her paws, she stretched out and squeezed her eyes closed. "Can you wait outside the den unless I call?" she asked. It wasn't really a question, but she wanted to be polite. Feeling another convulsion, she looked at him desperately.

Lucifer flicked his ear and rolled over, unable to get comfortable. He flicked his tail and yawned, standing up. He trotted off into the woods and managed to kill a field mouse. He when back to the nursery and laid down, eating the rodent.

Leorite nodded at Rayne. "If you want I can give you a potion to put you to sleep so you won't feel a thing. But I know most females don't want to miss the experience. It's your choice." He walked out of the den and looked at Lucifer. "I gave her a potion to relieve the pain. She said it helped." He knew the Lucifer was worried.

Ukka trotted up to the den, seeing Lucifer and Leo in front of the den. She looked at Lucifer. "Yes, son. Of course I'd like to join the pack. And why are you two outside? You should be inside helping her."

Lucifer smiled up at Ukka, "She is extremely stubborn and said she was doing it by herself~" He let out a sad sigh and stared down at the ground, "She said she'd call if she needed us~" The brute laid his head onto his paws and yawned out of anxiousness.

Ukka's fur puffed up. "Very well then. She'll tell us if she needs us." She shook her pelt and sat down.

Rayne watched as he left, sighing, she took a few deep breaths, readying herself. A contraction shook her body and she held back the whine. Stretching out, her muscles tensed and she began her journey through birth.

Rayne smiled down at the two puppies at her stomach. Licking them, she made sure they were fine. Then, looking to the light at the front of the den, she perked her ears forward. "Luke," she called softly. "Leo, Ukka, you guys can come in now," she barked.

Lucifer shot up and towards the den. His eyes had to adjust to the darkened den, but soon enough he was at Rayne's side, licking her cheek. He smiled down at the two newborn pups, softly licking their heads, "They are beautiful~" He laid down beside his mate, watching his two heirs wiggle about.

Rayne smiled at Lucifer, tail wagging softly. "They are. Look, the little girl looks just like you," she murmured softly, gazing at the pups. Licking his nose, she leaned slightly against him and watched their small beautiful puppies.

Frost was warm and crowded one second and the next second she was cold and free. She used her instincts to guide her to warmth. She snuggled up to the soft fluff. She opened her mouth and started to drink milk.

Lucifer smiled at the littler black colored female and looked at Rayne, "The little male looks just like you~" He leaned down and licked both pups calmly, whispering softly, "I will always protect you~"

Rayne smiled at Lucifer and the pups, then lied her head on her paws and continued watching them quietly. "As will I," she murmured in reply to Lucifer's whisper.

Leorite perked his ears ar Rayne's voice. He walked inside and saw two pups. He smiled and looked at Rayne. "They're beautiful."

Rayne lifted her head a few inches, smiling at Leorite. "Thank you," she murmured happily.

Lucifer looked at Leorite and reluctantly moved to the side, already overprotective of his family. He laid down and placed his head on his mate's back, watching the pups wiggle about and drink.

Ukka walked into the den. She looked at Leorite. "The outside doesn't matter. It's the inside that is beautiful. But I'm sure they're little angels." She laid down next to Rayne and smiled at the pups. "You did well. They look very healthy." She almost wanted to kiss one of the pups, but they weren't her pups. She wasn't going to have anymore.

Leorite looked at Ukka as she responded to his complement. He looked at Rayne and smiled. He looked back at Ukka and almost rolled his eyes. But he didn't. "He elders are the smartest of the pack. I shouldn't disagree with her words," he thought. He looked at the tiny pups again and smiled.

Rayne glanced back at her mate, a small giggle escaping her lips. Licking his nose, she turned back to the elder and healer. "Thank you both... so much," she murmured. Her eyes threatened to slip closed, but she kept them open. Today had definetly been a long day, but she wasn't going to black out now.

Lucifer licked his mate's cheek, "Go to sleep darlin'~ It's be a long day for you." He looked at the pups and chuckled, "They aren't going anywhere~" He climbed to his feet and looked at Leorite and Ukka, "Ukka will you please stay here and Leorite will you come with me to get some food." He smiled softly, his eyes tired, but he couldn't rest just yet.
